image and graphics - where can I get them

The only risk with stock is when you want to make sure that you are using a unique image that a competitor can not use.

When I discuss this with small biz clients, they don't have a problem. However - if it were a large company or corporation, I would assume there might not be an issue with purchasing unique images.

Yes. That is pretty much what I find as well. Plus there is so much stock available that if the searcher uses so creativity and even a bit of PhotoShop, you can avoid not being unique.

We are using iStockphoto, but at the same time are using every chance to produce our own photos and images.

I use the following resources to obtain free to use images:

publicdomainpictures.net - a growing source of public domain pictures and graphics
dreamstime.com - it has a large selection of free to use images, I also have a paid account here and a single image can be inexpensive at lower resolutions

Both have quick, effective search facilities.

I like to use Jupiter Images which have royalty images with free stuff. Moreover I wish to bring my own photo & graphics.

also search for stockXcg or something like this on google. The amount of images they have is impressive.

Any chance you can you point me to the location of the "free stuff" on Jupiter Images?

I can only find paid images which cost anything between $49 and $550 each.
