Google Analytics showing traffic from "search"

In Google Analytics I see traffic from "search" is equal to almost half of the traffic we receive from Yahoo.

But what exctly is search... is this Metasearch (search.com)? I thought Ask was meant to be the next biggest?

Yes you are right its Metasearch Search Engine only, And if you are getting traffic from it then no big deal.

It's funny, after posting the more I looked into SE stats the more I was convinced it might be Ask as apparently it's easily the 4th biggest... but looking at my GA stats further I see ask is there, just way, way down the list.

The reason I'm trying to find out is this site, unfortunately, uses geo targeting and displays a very limited site to the US (client insists) so we need to let search bots bypass the geo targeting to access the UK site that has all the content.

I need the user agent string for "search" but I haven't been able to find anything for Metasearch. Can anyone help?
