Wink WebCEO makes computer sluggish - Anyone else have this problem?

Does anyone find WEBCEO grinding their internet connection and entire computer to a halt? I haven't seen this problem much in my research, but I pretty much have to leave the office when WEBCEO is running becuase it pretty much makes opening or using even word, or IE impossible. (3-5 minutes from the time I click on IE explorer icon till' connected when WEBCEO is running) -- I have a fairly up to date box, (80Gig, 1 gig ram, 2.8 Gig Dual core intel -- not a gamer, but enough to run one program wihtout issues, one would think)
    Any thoughts welcome!

I don't believe software can affect your connection, but I have had plenty of problems over the years with software incompatibilities. Are you running another memory hog at the same time? How old is your computer? No matter how big, they do slow down over time if you fill up the hard drive. Is it more than half full?

1BG of ram on Windows XP or Vista or 7?
I generally recommend at least 2Gb. I am actually using Windows 7 with 6GB. 80BG hard drive is not that much these day and I'll second to the question asked by mjtaylor.
As far as the WebCEO issue, I have never experienced any problem with my internet connection although I do not use that application on a regular basis just maybe once every 3 months.
