Thanks Morestar, its heartening to know that there is hope in building twitter followings.

What sort of clients do you manage Twitter accounts for? I can see twitter really working in areas where person to person interaction is important, but can it work for clients that have more impersonal businesses?

What do you mean by impersonal business? At the moment I'm doing quite a bit for cosmetic dentists and surgeons...it gets a bit tiresome too but I do see the follower list growing more and more each week. So what do you mean by impersonal businesses?

Yes I've personally found that meaningfully retweeting and interacting with those you're following has also helped me grow my twitter followership. However, there's a client for whom I've tried all these and more, but nothing seems to be getting the traction that I would have loved. Anyway, I'm not giving up... I guess overtime, things will improve. Thanks for the article/suggestions.

I'm in the same boat with one of the clients too...it seems as if no one really cares to follow him whatsoever...like you, I believe a little more from the client (better articles etc.) may change this fact, that or as you mentioned, time will change things.

    But I don't give up!

    Twitter

You should use socialkikto buy Twitter followers ... we purchased 10,000 Twitter followers from them and we're quite satisfied with the results. It was the best marketing and adverting expense that we spent to date. Sales are going through the roof simply because we have a 10K audience on Twitter.
