    No...
I like foot stomping music . Music with a beat. Music I cannot sit still to. I quite like traditional Jaz as long as the musicians are indepedant. I like Chuck Berry. . I only listen to ABC radio, So If they do not play it I do not hear it. This is not to say anyone passing by my place on a Sunday afternoon. . will not hear a solitary voice screaming out a totally unheard of Hillbilly version of an ACDC HIT. (That will be me)

has anybody else heard of. Eberhard Weber, Ralph Towner, Pat Metheny?

Yes. Every time I think of or have to listen to ACDC. Not because it is bad music, but because of having to work around it for so many years, I've grown numb to most of the 80's rock and roll; ergo, my love of eclectic over electric, rhythm over beat, and complex over repetitive. Oh but I do have Stompin' Tom Connors in my collection. Ever heard of Stompin' Tom?

Yep. How about Pat Travers and Darby Mills (The Headpins) They rocked. Saw them both at Massey Hall in T.O. one night in the 80's - heard of them?

Yes. Fortunately they didn't get covered a lot (or overplayed on radio/jukebox), so I never tired of them, though I don't have any in my collection. Must go look. Was anybody into the folk wave of the late sixties and early seventies? The Pentangle, Fairport Convention, and such?

(I still put 'Sweet Child' (The Pentangle) in the top ten albums of the genre, to this day.)

Yes. I was more a fan of Lightfoot, Dylan and Beatles etc. Not a bad crew to play some songs from eh?

No. But then it doesn't have to be. Life is life, fairness doesn't come into it. People are fair, or not. This has nothing to do with life. Nature doesn't play favorites.

@LD: Gave up on Dylan way back when he started to weird out his audiences. He may be an icon, and a notable folk artist but apart from a few meaningful and poignant poems/songs, he didn't really add much to overall fabric of music. The last concert I went to was him and Tracy Chapman. What a bomb. Two ketchup bottles with wind blowing through them would have been better. What a let down. Lightfoot and The Beatles? I go along with those ones. Their music will remain timeless for decades to come.

How about the classical genre? Any favorites among the composers of centuries gone by?

Yes. I don't know if it's from centuries gone by, but Will Ferrell has ruined one of my favorite songs, Por Ti Volare. What's next - Will doing Lightfoot??

No, not likely. Notice that the drumsticks didn't match the sounds during some of the video? This parody got my laugh.
