Well . . . Do not tell anyone I told you . But if you go to freelancer.com and submit a request, some obliging person will offer to "SEO and Optimise your web site" for a fee . . . They might just throw in a 'DMOZ listing' if your wording is correct.

Is it worth the effort? . . probably not!

ROFLMAO The only "guaranteed" listing is one you get by paying an editor of the category you're submitting to. Other than that, submit and forget.

Yes, and if you can find a corrupt editor, I will pay you double what they get. This is a myth! The overlords at DMOZ are so vigilant that the incidence of corruption is very, very low. Everyone loves to hate DMOZ when they can't get in.

I've kind of forgotten about DMOZ...probably because a lot of people seem to think it's impossible to get in. And they were saying that 10 years ago.
Anything new about the status of DMOZ these days? Is it worth the time to submit?

It *is* worth the time to submit. It takes only a few minutes and if you get the link, it's a good little bonus. Submit and forget about it. Or apply to be an editor. People do get in sometimes and are allowed to add their own site! Don't apply if you aren't willing to do some editing, though.

No, nobody can guarantee dmoz listing. You should submit to it, but understand that it may never get put into the directory.
