Flash Decompiler Opens when swf file is double clicked
hi,
I am new to this forum. Can anyone please help me out to solve this problem?.
Whenever I tried to open the swf file it tries to open in Flash Decompiler instead of Swiff Player or Adobe Flash player which I installed in the computer. But I uninstalled the decompiler software which I used for trial purpose but then the default opening mode for my swf file is Flash Decompiler and the first option say like this "Open with Flash Decompiler"
I do not know how to change the default opening mode to Swiff or Adobe Flash Player but I can able to open in Swiff player when I right click and select "Open in Swiff Player". But this has to be done everytime instead of double clicking the swf file. I still confused becaused I verified several times whether I uninstalled the Decompiler or not. Yes, but the problem is still persist. Please anyone help me out. It is taking hell out of me. Thanks in advance.

If you browse to an swf file in windows explorer, right click on it and choose properties. In the "general" settings you can there change which is the default program that windows opens the swf file with.

You can change your file property. Right click on your file whatever you want to open in another file menu, go to property where openwith options are given. Then click on change option and select the default file.
