    Some "hardcore" critique mabye? :)

Hello people, just browsing the web for "logo reviews" and "critiques" websites, and found this forum... I just want some feedback for this logo i made for a "reggae-news" website... I am not a "real" logo-designer but i thought i give it a try...

And since i don't have the necessary number of posts to attach the image, here is a link:

    flickr.com/photos/vladfilip/4900909297/

The logo is made out of 2 TTF (LCR Create A Face and Rock Star 2.0)

    Thank you all in advance

When designing a logo, I would steer clear of using entirely free to use elements such as downloadable ttf's. This can result in issues in the future.

I personally do not like the design too much. I tis a nice idea, and the shape is great but the face itself looks a wee bit messy and undefined. If you wish to use that outline for the shape I would hand draw the facial elements and make try to create a smoother reggae feel, instead of the chaotic electronica feel it has right now.

Sorry for the lack of reviews. It can be hard to review a logo without knowing much of what it is for.

Are you Scottish 3DG, the term "wee bit" is a commonly used Scottish term. I do not know many Scottish people, but do know a couple, so just recognise the lingo and wondering (although a little off topic) if you may be of Scots descent yourself.

From what I say I think that looks great for an Icon for a logo, but you should have the site name with it... Or is the watermark looking text over top the name of the site?
