I do believe links can overcome this, but traditional on-site SEO practices suggest the same keywords you are targeting in your title tag -- employment opportunities and search for jobs -- should be present in the content of the home page - in body text, h1, and perhaps anchor text of links to and from the page.

I think you might want to build some content? Perhaps the articles could be your own, and not from Yahoo?

Also, your description meta tag suggests you are focused on the job market in South Africa, but your title tag doesn't reflect that.

I like the good blend of colors.

    A favicon will do well.

    All the best!

Maybe some copy on the Home page and expanding the Title tag.

As a person just coming across you website, I have no idea who you are. It would help to state on your index page, you are search engine, agency or what ever you are. Are you contactable? If so why not Contacts? Your Keywords are bit thin. I guess you will create pages to all the link you have linked to index. Your search brings some interesting results.

    Font Size

You should increase the font size a little bit. And use 'em' instead of 'px'.

Sorry, but linking out is just fine. It actually establishes your neighborhood (relevance) and is a good move.

It is to easy for a novice to link to a bad neighbourhood which will drastically effect any SEO Efforts. Whilst relevance is important i would suggest keeping links to internal pages until some knowledge is obtained. Also there are many other ways to increase a website relevance other than link to other sites.
