The wings are a bit abstract, to be sure. Angel's wings, perhaps? The metaphor can mean a lot of things, some of which you may not want passing through a patient's mind (like wearing them).

It may be just me, centering really gets under my skin for some reason, as some 'over symmetry' in a picture or graphic. I didn't always feel this way, but for some reason the more I look at things, the more I look for perspective (convergence and divergence) and balance over symmetry. The logo as it is displayed will be confined to the center of everything to look right.

The abundance of text takes away from the impact of the logo itself. and I'd agree with others who feel it is a bit large for the setting.
