That is exactly what the case was, the file that was called was a PHP script which output JavaScript. In the scope of things in may seem like a small error. But it is not, in my opinion, an error that would have been made by anyone even remotely familiar with either script languages or the way web severs work. This is especially relevant in this case, as this method of delivery is common in the act of SEO poisoning , which should be the primary focus of the web spam team as it is the most detrimental.
