    Additonal reading

Found this article when searching for MLA guidelines. It should help, though I am not sure how to interpret the URL reference. what should the link phrase read?

The cited material is addressing the print media, where there is no such thing as "anchor text."

There the URL would be cited in its textual form, i.e., as http://www.virtualsalt.com/mla.htm, so as to allow of transcription.

On that page, I found the following

    Grammarly [grammarly.com]

Grammarly is world's best automated grammar checker and proofreader. It includes over 150 grammar checks, free plagiarism detection, and vocabulary ...
product that I have not heard of before. It seems that there is a slolution for nearly every problem in the digital world. I am unsue of how good that solution is.

Copyscape [copyscape.com] should be known to most webmasters.

Generally good and reasonable rules that should make the forum even more professional. There is a lot of information in the rules, so it can be difficult to remember the finer details and place a great burden on the forum moderators.

I think I see a more restrictive policy regarding outbound links. Aside from that I can not see anythingt substantially new.

The definition of a good football (soccer) referee.

A person that you did not notice. In other words, you don't remember her / him after the match is finished.

    Gee, maybe this:

    Rule 4:
Don't Break the Law - Do not make any unlawful, libelous, defamatory posts, or posts that infringe upon any intellectual property rights. Do not conduct any activity that may be illegal, or harmful in any way, to people, to software or hardware, such as hacking, flooding scripts viruses or Trojan horses. This also goes for references to any 'warez', cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated.
Mostly nothing has changed, but things are more clearly stated.

Well, gee; maybe I didn't keep a copy of the old rules for comparison.

Is that something I should start doing?

I'd be more interested in the issuers of my credit cards providing usable information re. changes to the account agreements. Trying to interpret a 6 year old contract with 86 amendments, some of which amend earlier amendments, is a royal PITA.
