appearing offline

hi

I am appearing as offline to one of my contacts, X. X is not in my block-list; that i have checked.

I think i remembered setting my status as offline to X in one of my MSN, I cannot remember the version. now that I have upgraded my MSN to MSN plus.... I cannot find that function to customise my status to a specific contact, so i remain as appearing offline to X.

Can someone tell me:
1) how to remove this status customization; or
2) check what was the previous version of MSN I was using;
or

3) which MSN version allows status customization.

with the new msn, you have to either appear offline to all of your contacts or block the certain person that you don't want to see that your online.

to your 3rd problem, if you download MSN Plus, just type it into google, or any other search engine, you can customise your status, change the colour of your name that appears in conversations etc, its simple, just download it and let it do its stuff, it shuts msn down then reloads when its integrated into it.
