At times, I have generated up around ~40k a month in profit. This was between a client and I. I have proven screen shots to show how much I've spent on AdWords. It's actually listed on our corporate site.
why have you chosen clickbank and commission junction? is there a particular niche you operate in and how do you go about choosing your advertising? and how many visitors a month to the site?
Our main business is not related to affiliate programs but we have a demo (VideoEncounter) for a random webcam chat script where we implemented some affiliate feeds. We wanted to showcase monetization methods for our customers.
Site grew fast as traffic. Last 2 months it generated some nice affiliate revenue from AWE:
