Yeah I know, regardless of what method you use to create backlinks you have to put in the work and time to make it happen, not unless you have the money to pay an SEO company to optimise your webpage so that it can rank in the top 3 of Google and then attract others to link to your page.

Best way? To buy them, this way you total control over the links you are receiving. However, that is not the most ethical way of getting them and getting caught can do more harm then good.

There is no one best way. You have to look at each resource for a link building opportunity. Depending on your business, there are many opportunities in your niche. This does not in anyway mean you should not do conventional link building work but only that any link giving resource which does not cause any negative problems (raising a red flag at the search engines) is good.

Just google your desired keyword and look for the results. Mostly you can add your link somwhere on one of these results. In this way your link will be highliy relevant for the keyword.

Have you throughly searched for your site in the search engines. I was up and running for only 10 days before I got on page 10 of Google and a week later I am on the first page - the 8th entry down. I am also #8 in AOL, #64 in Yahoo! and #14 in Lycos. You might try submitting constantly (like every day for a week)
