logo review

I am re designing my logo, re working it rather and would love some feedback. I am hoping the pencil graphic I have incorperated into my type is quirky/origanal enough to work and not look a cliche. I feel a cliche done well really works, on the other hand it can look obvious and ametuerish. Comments please??
