Yesterday I was doing some search result testing on a mobile phone - the iPhone - for some highly competitive keywords and found that there is absolutely no distinction between the organic results and the sponsored results.

As it stands, if a user uses Google to search on their mobile phone and if the keywords searched generate sponsored listings (Adwords ads) the user will not be able to determine if the listed sponsored results differ from the organic results unless they scroll down.

This was yesterday evening and at the moment I cannot remember the exact layout but if you search yourself, using your mobile phone you will see what I am taking about.

In my opinion this isn't too good...
