Feedburner Question for Blog Domain Changes

I have recently moved my blog from being hosted on my personal websites sub-domain to a completely new domain.

Now when it comes to my feedburner account I have a lot of subscribers, but I have also created a new feedburner URL for my new domain.

My question, is there a way to redirect the old feed to the new feed and not lose all the current email subscribers to my feed?

I think all you need to so is change where the feedburner feed is pointing and you should be okay. Point the feed burner at the subdomain rss feed and your subscribers will probably not know the difference. Let me know if that works.

why don't you inform the users by putting a text to your site and point them to the update url.

there will always be a drop off of people who won't make the change. just change the feed in feedburner and you'll be set. they won't know the difference. much safer that way. trust me
