I have a site that is focused on a single state. I would like to expand the reach of the site to include other surrounding states in the region. From an SEO point of view, would it be better to create a sub domain for each state or just add the new states as a subdirectory of the existing site? Is there a difference? Any reasons why I should choose one over the other?
