Signatue Removed

Hi,

I came back to this forum after few weeks and was surprised that I could not even login. On the last attempt, 5th one, I somehow was able to login : ) Same browser, same password and username.

Then I was surprised to see my signature empty.

I searched and found other people with the same issue. Moderators have pointed them to forum rules page and said no adult or objectionable links.

I shall be grateful to any moderator who can kindly tell me the reason for my signature removal:

Looking through your profile, the signature field is empty. Why not just add your signature back to your profile? It doesn't look like your violating any rules of ours. It could have been removed by mistake.

I didn't entered the signature as I thought I first find out if it is ok to add links to my signature : )

I was able to login on the 5th attempt, what could be the reason for that?

4 times, got the message that, username or password is incorrect.

I had re-generated the password and was pasting the same password until on the last attempt, I successfully login.

Is the upgrade in this forum complete or the work is still going on?

Unfortunatly it's still going on. It wasn't as seamless a transition as I had hoped. We are still missing a few things, but the user login should be just fine. I really have no answer for that part of it.

I also cannot see my signature when I comment on a topic. I added my signature and when I preview it, it shows fine, but I do not see it in my comments. Any hepl will be apprecaited.

Signatures don't show up until you have 15 posts. But please don't go and add a bunch of posts to make that happen. That's called posting for count and you can get an infraction for that. Participate naturally in the forum and your signature links will eventually show up.

Hi moderator,

When my posts were 11 I can see my signatures but someone removed my signatures during last 2-3 days, can you please find this for me? My signatures were according to rules.

I did notice that you have attracted some attention from moderators. The best I can recommend is you replace your signature.

Then I recommend you be on your best behaviour so that you remain on the good side of the moderators for a while.

Sometimes it is better to concentrate your efforts on tomorrow rather than yesterday. This may be one of those times.

Ok, I have added signature again but it is very bad, unofficial and unethical behavior if any moderator removed my signature just because I don't agree to his personal opinion. Moderators should work according to rules, if someones signature is correct then no need to remove it due to personal reasons.

I am independent and it is my right to disagree with any one according to my own opinion. I am really sorry to say that moderators are not GOD or superhuman, they also can be wrong in some cases. This is not for you buddy.

I will update here if my signature is removed again.

If your signature disappears again. The chances are that if it is a moderator that removes it . . They might just remove you too.

Moderators are the only protection the bulk of WPW users have to keep out the tons of rubbish that gets dropped off in this forum. I sincerely doubt that you have attracted the attention of WPW moderators without reason.

Be nice to the moderators - always smile at us . . . ( But only If you wish to remain a member)
