Thumbs up New trends in It

Desktop and online games are at the frontier of technology. Some new trends in games can be summarized in the following KW's:

    1. Biosensor technology.
    2. Remove what you hold in your hands.
    3. Playstation move.

A general trend. Touch screens have been a hot topic but why should you use a screen?

I can't say that I'm enormously well informed about the games industry, but it does seem to me that the future must be away from screens and controllers.

I guess they're already experimenting with stuff that will literally allow you to control the game with thoughts? Or is this still some way away from being a reality?

Actually, such games have been available for over a decade. Until recently, however, they were controlled using sensors that would be attached to a finger, reading neural impulses the way a replacement limb would - essentially replacing the mouse with direct neural feedback from your brain.

Today, gamers can use much more sophisticated systems. Here is one: http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...pulse_actuator, but a search for "neural impulse actuator game" should give you a variety of devices and information about the games they support.

Touch screens are really great. They will make games very popular among all the ages of the populations. I am already dreaming to get such a game.
