I wouldn't say hours. Minutes maybe if your'e good enough. :)
To a determined thief, watermarking images is pointless as they can easily be removed. They just (maybe) deter the casual abuser.
So, is there no such thing as a professional freelancer?...

Neither work for me.
If I see a Sitepal, I immediately close my browser. They're annoying in the extreme.
I like it - quite classy. I'd suggest working on the device though. Use the first one but simplify it. :-)

Agree with the above - lose the splash page (and the 'jaggies' on the logo!). :)

Not as well as it should. You'll note that you were forced to add an outline in order for it to work. The best logos work in all forms; colour, greyscale and black and white without having to alter...
