Hello guys, I just want to ask some advise with regards the bounce of my web site. I use PPC in promoting my products then the bounce rate of the website instead of decreasing, it gradually increased. From the time that I have updated the website I mean after the full redesign of my website the bounce rate went up, but the visitors increase also.

Here are some of the points which I am reviewing why the bounce rate increase

1. The Design Structure - I am questioning myself if the design has a big effect for that scenario since we had this full redesign of the site the effect unique visit increased but the bounce rate increased.
2. The increase in traffic/visits - I am thinking that because of the gradual increase in the unique visitors contributes in the increase of the bounce rate
3. Wrong use of PPC - Another thing that might contribute is the wrong use of keyword/terms for google adwords.

Mind if i seek for an advise on how to decrease the bounce rate?

Hi,

I am spending a fair amount with Google, and I find that I get a good number of clicks, impressions and Conversions.

But I also find that now I have been working on my keywords, and adding from Search Terms Report.

That I am giving Google more money!! Obviously I think!! :)

So what I need to work is which keywords to pause?

The big hitters, ie: Keywords with Many clicks, Good CTR, bid is a little costly, but it is bringing in conversions as well.

So trim the max bid?

or

Look at all the keywords and pause all the little ones, the ones that do not bring in conversions, but cost say $2 a day, from 3 or more clicks. BUt as there are about 20 keywords like this on each campaign, it can all add up!!

or

Is it a case of checking all keywords for

Max Bid
Clicks
CTR
Conversions

and pausing/moving down the max bid for any keyword that brings in no conversions over a 60 or 90 day period? But has obviously bought in many clicks and therefore cost money...it is these keywords that are eating into what could have been a profitable day.

I presume the final answer is the correct answer. If so, then really I am looking at what approach other people take.
