Should we link our website to different language website or not?

I've seen many websites of different languages like German, Spanish etc which are relevant to my site. i want to be linked with their website but the only issue in my mind is whether getting linked with websites of different languages is useful for the site or not? Please help me in this matter. Your answers will be valuable for me.

I prefer not to link until its available in English version (If your site in English). I am not sure about SEO effect but yeah for users, he/she will not drop in your website if they don't understand whats there.

Btw will you visit if you don't know the language :)

i would link to them only if a significant portion of your sites users would utilize information given in that language.

think of it in terms of relevance from a user point of view.
