How many articles?

I am doing link building for my new website.But still I am confused about article submission.How many articles I need to post daily? Is it fair with 2-3 articles or I have to submit in bulk like 30-40 articles daily for new website?

Please help me.Its very urgent.

Google doesn't like your site getting too many links in a short time. So, if you can submit 1-2 articles with good anchor keywords is much enough. Better you look other alternatives like squidoo, hubpages etc or put up content to your site itself.

Generally I write and submit 4 article in a month in Top10 articles websites. Those are Top in terms of Alexa (Traffic measuring tools) and PageRank. I found this startegy helpful in getting more traffic. Yeah Search Engine ranking also increases for your targeted keywords too.

I think 30 per day would be ok since article doesn't get approved immediately. It might take 2 to 4 weeks to get approved.

As per my experience of articles submission,most of article directories approve your article within 2-3 days. Even if you write any thing non sense,useless and putting your link,they will approve you.

Suppose you are doing daily 30 submissions,at end of week your total number is 150.And suppose you get backlinks around 100,then that wound not be spamming?

This is method of getting backlinks within short period which Google does not like as per Gennie32 said.

Any other thoughts?

I have heard from some webmaster building various link back 25 a day is enough,and it should contain not only article submission, it better if you can mix it with blog commenting,do follow social bookmark or RSS submision

If you've had no linkbuilding from directories and then suddenly get 150 links in a week then - imo - that will not look "natural" and might trip a flag.

In my own - limited - experience, I had about 20-30 articles published in 1-2 months for a 6 months old site; the serps went up from position 29 to position 22 then the site suddenly fell back down to p4 for a couple of months (presumably some flag had been tripped???) but the site is now back up hovering between position 19-21. I assume from that that the articles beneffited me long-term.

Obviously , vary anchor text.

Well one more thing I found.Are articles are categorized under General,Special and Expert articles? Some SEO Submissions I found like

General Article content - articlecell,articlesnatch ( PR 2-6) = daily 10 articles approximate
Special Article content - selfgrowth,articlecity ( PR 5-6) = daily 1 article approximate
Expert Article content - hubpages,squidoo (high quality content sites) = daily 1 article approximate

Well....I am bit confused by this strategy.I think ultimately google will count your article equally though you submit it to any article directory. Cause finally website is same which you are promoting. You need quality content and right targetting keywords for any article site for getting ranking.Article marketing purpose is for getting quality backlinks and Google ranking.

OR Google will give value more to hubpages (PR 6) article than article in articlecell (PR 1) for ranking?or counted equally? If suppose I am not submitting articles frequently to high PR article sites like hubpages,squidoo,ezinearticles,google will not help my website for ranking and PR?

Yes, this sounds like spamming. Ask yourself: does this article really add to the knowledge of the internet. Am I adding something of true worth? If you know that a human would get really value out of it, then you aren't spamming. If you're doing it just to raise your rank in the SERPs, at least admit to yourself that what you're doing is purely self-serving at best and probably unethical.

If you can write 30 articles in one week (never mind one day) that are worth reading, and not just for linking then surely you can write content for the website that is so compelling that people will link to you naturally.

I am not saying I don't write articles, but I am writing fewer and fewer. And here's why: when Caffeine is rolled out, a lot of those sorts of links will have less value. Watch for article directories losing PageRank in the next round of algorithms just as regular directories have been mostly stripped of their value.

These tactics may work in the short term, but these are not organic links, and little by little Google is denigrating the value of links you create for yourself.

If I am writing general topic article and giving link to my website or any product page inner link.Might be it will be irrelevant.So google will consider this irrelevancy?or simply consider for backlink purpose?

I feel I should be loyal with my subject and should write about product very general way not by marketing or promotional way.If I am submitting 4 articles per week,what will be ratio for general article and product/service oriented article?

i think its better to write article for general information..u may write for promotion but dont add to many links or keywords side it so that it feels phishy ..and the ratio shoud be 3:1 in my opinion..
