I think virtual tours like this are a really bad idea, you should stick to a good set of well taken photos. It's something that was very popular among webmasters in the 90's, but I don't think they where ever popular with surfers.

I have to disagree. It it is used correctly, virtual tours can be very cool. We had proposed do a web site for an upscale bar. The virtual tour would have been the navigation as well. You scroll around, click on the DJ and it goes to the music section of the page, etc.

Virtual Tours are very helpful if you want to show something that someone can't just take your work for, like apartments, school campuses, etc.

Unfortunately icemancast, there is a software purchase required to do it, and possibly some hardware too. Some photographers offer this service for a little additional charge. You might want to look into that.

VR Worxs and Apple both offer software (I don't recommend the Apple one because it is 6 years old and does not work on OSX or PC). there are some other brands too. Kaidan is the leader in tripod heads, to make sure that everything lines up perfectly. You have to be very careful of nodal points, number of pictures etc. It can become very pricey to do it yourself (investment in all stuff), plus it can be very difficult to do it well.
There are a few sites that show the product of VR's, but very few that will teach you how to do it.
