HI,
I was thinking of doing a very simple logo, of my company offering web hosting, domain registration and web design, but now I am thinking that it is too simple for a designer!!

The color combination has burned a perminant impression of your bug into the retina of my eye. In that, it is highly effective. You clearly have misgivings about it. Your suggestion that, as a designer, it might not convey a strong enough impression of the craft you ply, might be well founded.

I noticed that you're using the 697 x 144 pixel logo.gif and having the browser scale it to 400 px wide, with no height declaration, so I'm guessing that the site is still in beta.

Yes teh site is there temporarly, till i finalise the design, with all the items I offer and also the logo rearranged.

The problem is, since websajts is websites in Maltese,
I am not picturing what graphic i can do, relating to the topica, and not doing a world, ww or something of teh sort

Thank you for your post.
I have a few suggestions to offer you:
-consider reducing the size of your logo. Like shouting on radio or all-cap letters in a forum, size has little to do with impact.
-consider restructuring your logo so that it doesn't fall into a solid horizontal 'banner ad' shape. Are eyes are trained to avoid these.
-Your typeface is strong, but I would recommend a unique visual to complement it. As a general rule, a powerful logo should be recognizable even if the letters are replaced.

Wow... that was a bit of a shock to the senses!! :c)
I realise your site is still in its infancy.. but I would be thinking twice about using such a high contrast color theme. It's extremely 'wearing' on the visitor's eyes, and they could well be suffering from eye fatigue before they actually find what they're looking for!

Also, your choice of font, while it does gives the site character, it doesn't immediately communicate 'hosting' or 'high-tech' to me personally. So my advice would be to think what image you wish to project, and have a look at alternative color schemes, and the underlying color psychology... it can make such a difference!

Thanks all for you comments.
Even I think that there was too much colour.
So I redeigned the logo so there is less colour.
Or should I change the colour scheme? Which 'I think' is powerful.

Now i added a circle ehich can resemble the www!!
Am I wrong?

I see you stick to the previous color scheme... I would choose different colors, but it is up to you. But I think that your logo will benefit a lot from antialiasing the edges a little bit.
