This is an interesting concept. I could see how it could work to investigate rival sites. The site is a bit plain, but I can see why you would do that. I can respect the fact that you want the product to shine not the design. Perhaps you could put like a one line description just to ensure that people understand what your site does.

For DMOZ listed sites or sites with a DMOZ categoryname in the domainname I predominantly get the other sites from the DMOZ category and subcategories.
For other sites I get horrible results.

So there is no reason why I should use your service.

I would agree with AlphaOmega - a brief intro and maybe a graphic illustrating what the site does will help people from not leaving immediately because they think the site is unfinished, don't understand it, or think something is wrong with the site, e.g., it doesn't seem to load all of the content.
