Hey everyone, im trying to decide between a .info and a .com domain.
.info = marketgames
.com = investingsimulators
Currently using the .com but the keyword gets very little searches each month. The .info gets about 500 times more searches.
I have never seen a .info website worth looking at.
Any suggestions?
As far as I can tell Google gives no preference to the domain extension when ranking so if your site has great unique content, .info will stand a chance of getting to a top spot. You can go ahead with creating a .info domain.

The only concern I could see is in Direct typing of the URL, but that is more often than not a small percentage of the traffic. I agree with Ace, content and optimization will make the ultimate difference in the SERP's.

I say go with the marketgames as the other keyword seems to be a long tail keyword.
Just put the optimized page on the marketgames domain and build deep backlinks to it.

I agree with Ace.But if I were you，I will choose .com,just beacuse of highest authority.

dot com has higher resell value,i will chose dot com following dot net then dot info...

.com is always the best choice unless you are starting a non profit.
