Wait for few days, your plug-in will also update in the meantime.

Usually add-ons update themselves so you need to wait for a couple of days. If you face the problem again, I would suggest you to completely un-install the FF browser and then install it again.

Yes, in most cases, reinstalling the FF browser solves the problem in most cases and so the I would recommend you to do that. If you are willing to wait for sometime then the FF browser has a tendency to update on a regular bases and when the browser updates itself the next time this problem would be solved. Also ensure that the no-follow add you are installing is from a good source.

I had the same problem after upgrading the new version for Firefox!
Now if you want to use the addon nofollow then you need to remove the current Firefox and install Firefox 3.0 instead!

Use the seobook toolbar instead, it always updates very quickly and has the same function

Waiting for an automatic update or re-installing FF will not work.

Each extension contains a loader stub which, among other things, specifies which version(s) of FF it is compatible with. Unless and until the developer makes any necessary change to the extension, and generates a new loader with an updated stub, you'll not be able to install the extension.

If you know how to decompress the install file, how to locate the loader stub, how to edit it, etal., you can try manually fudging said stub to claim compatibility. While this will allow the install to proceed, it will not guarantee that the extension will work.

If you absolutely must have such extension, the only reliable course is to roll-back to an earlier FF version.

Before I upgrade my version of Firefox I'm wondering if this problem has been fixed?

Update to the latest version because I can use NotDoFollow without any problems. :)
