Well today in Europe the browser voting has begun (http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2010/03/01/european-browser-choice-today/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter). Now all MS users of in XP, Vista or Windows 7 will have the option, via a program update, of being able to set their default browser to whatever the like from the following list of browsers:

Microsoft IE8 (Trident rendering engine)
Mozilla Firefox (Gecko)
Google Chrome (Webkit)
Apple Safari (Webkit)
Opera (Presto)
Avant (Trident)
Flock (Gecko)
GreenBrowser (Trident)
K-meleon (Gecko)
Maxthon (Trident)
Sleipnir (switchable between Trident and Gecko)
Slim (Trident)

Not too Shabby! It looks like Microsoft is moving ahead in the right direction. Let us see who takes the top spot in the browser wars over the next few months...stay tuned...

Well I'm not sure but I have a strange feeling FireFox might take the cake. I'm not at all familiar with European internet trends and behaviours but it seems if they have the option, straight in their faces they might just go for Firefox just to try it out.

Who knows really...and who knows what a browser is??

Someone who's not really interested in purchasing no?
