Evening all,

Please let me know what you think of my small flash site!

Still in very much 'work in progress'

How should I improve?

http://www.fitterkitchens.fsnet.co.uk

Thanks for your time and I look forward to your comments.

My first question is why Flash? This site is simple enough, just the benefit of time saved updating, it would be better suited doing it in html.

Flash is designed to add interactivity and wow the viewer. Now if you had the images fade in and out with other images showing a variety of kitchens, or did a kitchen in flash and made it so a viewer could change the cabinet colors or style to see how the kitchen would look with different selections, or added a photo gallery with Flash...

Flash does so much and you have not even begun to scratch the surface.

Don't get me wrong; what you have done is fine, nothing wrong with it. But with the time invested in doing it, it would have been faster to make what you have and update in the future if done in html. Challenge yourself; strive to go way above and beyond where you are now. Flash can give you so much more.

Best of luck.

Hi Steev,

I like what you've done in that it's super clean and simple. I see what ghstdrgns is saying, but considering that the load time was almost nothing I think it'd be fine either in Flash or HTML. The only things I would suggest is perhaps taking the section with the links at the bottom and make it a bit smaller so it doesn't take up as much space. Also you could add some transitions for each section for a little flare, but thats up to you.

Keep up the good work.
