I am using vista 64 bit with GRUB managing boots with my Linux partitions, if that matters. Browsers, and large shop programs like Adobe, have no problem connecting to the internet. Only a few small ones. Comment Kahuna, Tweet Desk, and Comment Hut. I asked the developer of Comment Kahuna for help, and he swore CK would work if I turned off UAC. I turned off UAC, firewall, anti- everything, and still no go.
Does anyone know how they are trying to connect to the internet differently than browsers and The Big Guys do? I have to have two computers on my desk because of this. Any help, suggestions, or direction would be greatly appreciated.
