I agree, it does not happen over night. It also requires regular attention and improvement as algo's change. What ranks well today, may not rank well tomorrow.

If only some of my SEO clients could understand the importance of patience. In the meantime, the use of PPC to supplement traffic until decent rankings occur through organic means is the best option.
