I have done a lot of work in seo, but my website's pr is still 0.
In the last one month, I have done directory submission, article submission and link exchange with other site. But our pr is still 0, what should I do in the future, can someone give some suggestions?

Sunrise, there are a number of reasons that your site may not be achieving PR, not the least of which is time. A month is not much time to hope to see results. In order for anyone to offer more, it would be necessary to visit your site. I would suggest you start a thread in the REVIEW MY SITE forum (Submit Your Site For Review - WebProWorld (http://www.webproworld.com/submit-your-site-review/)). Until you have reached 15 posts, you won't be able to post a link, but you can put it in as www yoursite dot com, and folks will be able to type it in.

Give it some time and also submit your site to DMOZ, and submit article is relevant sites. and also try to work on your site content.

Get some Good quality sites linking back to your websites.

Write some good, original content on your website, and do that on a regular basis.

Work on your On-Page Optimization. Here are some of the factors that needs to be considered:

title tags
heading tags (h1/h2)
keywords
alt attributes (use for describing images)
sitemap
robots.txt
description

patience is a virtue. don't rush things and just focus on what you can do as improvement. write good articles, generate more traffic and continuously learn.

I know that your question is regarding improving your pagerank, but keep in mind that Pagerank is not always the most important thing. I and many others here would rather have a high serp and get a lot of traffic for specific keywords then having a high pr and not get any traffic. It is "nice and helpful" to have a high pr but it's the most important thing. In answer to your question though as mentioned, patience and time is necessary and just keep working at it and keep doing the same old same old grind :p...articles, posts, back links and eventually you will see some results.

Participate on other strategies as well such as:

forum posting
classified ads
press release
social bookmarking and networking

Remember, create quality of inbound links or back links because Google gives more value on them.
