Dreamweaver has a slightly higher learning curve than most, but the overall results outweigh the initial time investment.
Dreamweavers’ produced coding is stricter than any other application. Meaning that it does not add a bunch of extra crap to the core code elements. If you notice, Dreamweaver has a command function labeled "Clean up HTML". This is because FrontPage and other apps. add a lot of crap coding that is not necessary for web use.
Most everyone would agree that for a WYSIWYG application, Dreamweaver is the industry standard.

I love Dreamweaver and all it's bedfellows from Macromedia.
Well worth the time getting to know the programs!
If I don't like something that dreamweaver does I change it.
I let it do the donkey work, then tweek it.

Dreamweaver rocks. We do most of our production in Dreamweaver so you can't go wrong. It's the best what you see is what you get editor you can get. It also has the ability to work with PHP and ASP so you can develop database driven sites without having to do a lot of hand coding.
