Oh my gawd! Another "good, better, best" question... We see a lot of these around, celeste, so you will understand my immediate reaction. More on the topic, one would expect that existing infrastructure would be the first dictate. Which is the easiest and least costly short term method that will suffice until a major upgrade in 2011?
In other words, can the existing infrastructure withstand the shock of HTML 5? Or are you just adding one more piece to the puzzle for folks down the road? Can you operate H5 independent of existing document types? If so, then one would see no reason not to explore. If not, then you have some decision making to do.

You can read the article of HTML 5 Geolocation API based on wireless geolocation and its comparison with the traditional IP based Geolocation from HTML 5 Geolocation API and IP Geolocation (http://www.ip2location.com/html5geolocationapi.aspx) .
