There is a PR up gradation going on at present.

It seems to have settled to me, the updates all look pretty realistic. I still stand by the fact you should not worry about PR toolbar - worry about how your site ranks.

I had another query, related to backlinks. It was showing some 150+ links to my site in Google before all this happened.

My blog went from a 2 to a 3 but no longer shows any back links. Not sure if it will stay a 3 or not till sometime tomorrow more then likely after the update is over and all the date centers update. More then likely I would say as long as this update is going on you will see your site and back links jump around and do odd things. To be honest it is best to not panic and wait for it to be over.

Hi Members,

I had a check at my blog, SEO Concepts Blog (http://tusharvickkie.blogspot.com) and to my utter surprise I noted a drop down in the page rank of the blog from 3 to 2.

Even the backlinks in Google are shown as 3 which was initially 150 plus.

Kindly, have a look and do suggest.

TusharLast week Google updated PR, and but this big loose is surprising me.. U have to check your links carefully through webmaster tool or some third party tools like backlinkwatch. This sudden loosing may effect on site ranking in SERP

Mine and all my clients PR jumped.

REMEMBER PR is USELESS!!!! Do not strive for the highest possible. It is useful, but should not make or break your SEO campaigns.

If suddenly your backlinks disappear, you would definitely be interested to know more about it and take the members advice.

I guess I did that only.
