Hi,
Would appreciate any comments on this redesign for a Twin Cities, Minnesota caterer. http://campionroseburns.com

Thanks so much!

Very nice job well done.

(time to be nit picky)

The main logo has some pixelation around the lettering. Also the gradient does not cover enough of the images so the edges show.

I haven't tested on other browsers so I don't know how it acts on them.

There is no doc type defined.

That's about it.

You can pick a menu, but you can't pick an occasion. Waazzzup wit dat?

As redcircle noted, the logo is not well rendered. I'd like to add that it's file size is way too large at 13 KB (13,045 bytes). Even if the text was anti-aliased and the file optimized, it really shouldn't be any larger than 4 KB. The page headers and the capc.gif also desperately need to be redone so that they're anti-aliased and obtimized. If they're larger than 500 bytes, you're needless straining the d/l time.

Very nice site! The items mentioned above are the only issues I'd recommend you work on at this point.

Well, it's better organized in the dropdown menu strip on the top, but if you have a corporate event, for example, it could be any of several menus, so there's no real good way to show that on just a list without being WAY redundant.

Thank you all for your great comments. I'll work on the graphics to get them looking better and optimized. Wow, I thought a 13K graphic would be OK; guess I'd better raise (or lower) my standards!

Hate to wreck your weekend Goddess, but the menu doesn't work in Opera. Got no drop down thingies there! Netscape and Mozilla were fine, IE worked great as well. You might want to try this one, as it is found to work beautifully in all four ~~> http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/topmen4/index.htm

Would otherwise agree with comments on pixelation above. But, load speed was great, and as long as the entire page isn't getting to large I wouldn't be overly concerned about a 13kb graphic file.
