Hi guys,
I'm back, and I feel so happy and lazy at the same time. I just went for a holiday to Bangalore, and it was so much fun. The best part was I actually went for a house Birthday party after so long, was a refreshing change from the usual party hubs. It aws fun, lots of fancy lunches, and little pubs, and of course our dear Hard Rock cafe, surrounded by friends, and binge shopping. The only vague part is the auto fares, never understood how their meters run so fast, and then the feign ignorance and even refuse to understand your language, so simply take it lightly & even if you're getting fleeced for a few bucks, just think of it as a tip. I'm still in holiday mode, and already wondering where next? :D

Its almost 3 months back, I went to Mauritius.
The best part of Mauritius is its diversified culture.
It has got a blend of Indian, Creole, Chinese and European culture.
I think the last one we took was in 2000. We spent two weeks in Puerto Vallarta.
Maybe it's time to think about another vacation! :-?

Haven't had a holiday in years. 1989? Maybe?
I never wanted to go on holiday and leave my cat. Now we have an African Grey Parrot, and I couldn't leave her to go on holiday! :)
You sound like me, Martin.
Always tethered to the house, by animals, kids or work!
We need to get out more!:D

Last year I took my family to one of my favorite places Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower and Wall Drug. For some reason I love it there. Next year we are going back to the Grand Canyon, another one of my favorite spots. I'm not much of a world traveler as I prefer to travel by car/campground as I feel there is so much here in the USA to see, why leave?
I have to say though I'm one of the lucky ones as my mom and dad were born under a wandering star and we used to travel over the entire summer when I was in school. I have been to every state in the US at least once "all by car" and wish I could do the same for my kids, but times have changed making it almost impossible, sadly enough.

I know! However, later this week I am going to go to Birmingham (England, that is!) to see a collection of artefacts found by a metaldetectorist in Staffordshire. Part of a King's treasure.
After I have seen that, I'll visit a pub round the corner and drink a good deal of beer! I have managed to grab a week off work and intend to enjoy it to the full! :D

Looks like an interesting exhibit, Martin.
I think it would be great if they're allowed to keep it permanently in the Midlands.

I think I am on Holiday. . I aint going back .
I think I am on Holiday. . I aint going back .
I had a young lad ask me today, if I was retired.
I told him it depended upon who I was talking to.
At my age, there's a very fine line between being retired, and being unemployed.

Might not be able to go until Saturday or Sunday. Still, I could have my traditional Sunday roast dinner in a pub round the corner.
