I noticed today that sometimes when I go to a website I'm working on, there is a strange query string variable added to the end of the URL of links on the page e.g.
a href="/?s=bemmngo8b0hqqvao5h2meigfa4">home
The reason I am posting it in here is that it seems that it might be when I visit the site from Google. Anyone know why this might be and if it affects optimisation of the pages. I didn't code the site so it might be something in the code causing this but thought I would ask in here for opinions. It doesn't seem to be browser specific and seems to happen when I visit the site for the first time (possibly the first time after I clear the cache).
