Good Morning all,

Following the good advice of my fellow WPW'ers a have been trying to get links into my site in order to increase my Google position.

If you search google with 'www.laserfume.com' - you get several of these links listed.

But, if you ask Google who links to the site using 'link:www.laserfume.com' there are a lot less registered links.

I have two questions.

1. Which results does google class as a link
2. Is there any way I can increase the number of links registered with the link:www.laserfume.com function?

Thanks in advance.

Ignore the link: in Google - it only ever returns a sample of backlinks and never them all.

If the page that the link is from is in the Google index and the links can be crawled (eg no javascript; etc), Google is probably counting it towards PR.

If that is the case then this site should be fairly well thought of by google as it has more links in than many of it's competitors.

It also is smattered with 'laser fume' titles, keywords etc. But still for some reason Google seems not to like it.

If you have time, please try searching on 'laser fume' and see if any reasons spring to mind.

Cheers.
