I have noticed on some of our pages on the site are getting backlinks from blogs. Obviously any links from blogs or sites are good. If the blog has a PR3 and links to me but then after 10 or 20 posts, my post/link is pushed to a new page that has no or lower PR ... if Google spidered the page when my link was on the PR3 page ... does that link juice come to my site?

When Google comes back in a week and I am not on a page that has no PR, do I lose that juice?

Thanks,

Arthur

I am no expert but I think that age of a backlinks is very important. If you had a link on the homepage/PR3 which vanishes in few days, then I think your site will not get much juice from that link in the time when your link stays on the homepage.

"do I lose that juice?"

I think yes, you will lose the juice [if there was any given :) ] that you got for being on the homepage/PR3 after your link is pushed out.

I think if the blog had a page rank 3 and than suddenly vanished that it probably did not have a genuine page rank. ? I don't think you will be affected by their loss.
