Hi,
I'd love to hear your suggestions for a little herbal products site I am developing:
http://www.kroscenherbalproducts.com/
Thanks,
Grease

I'm very new to this and don't have a lot of experience, but i have looked at a lot of web sites.
I like the site so far, but a couple of things: I am a fan of the home page being a single page (ie not having to scroll). Also the features down the left hand side don't match the professional look of the site, maybe some graphics are needed (did you have a different font for a reason?)
Other than those reasons stated above i like the look, remembering i am not a web page designer.

Michael

Excellent suggestions.
The links down the side are bothering me as well. Thanks to you I now have an independant review to pass on to my client! For now I reduced the spacing, changed the font and grouped links to keep it tighter. This reduces the scrolling as well. Personally I do not have a problem with scrolling on the main page, although I am highly in favour of keeping the most important content 'above the fold'.
Thanks!

Grease, as usual nice work ! :-)
Just a couple of suggestions (just my opinions)....
I dont like the green divider above the 'get well stay health' on front page. It kinda looks like it shouldn't be there.
I think it would look better starting from the top. The yellow at the top I dont think frames it well.
The links kill the page. But then I am not a fan of underlined blue links. You have this nice natural remedy page, greens/yellow providing the scene, then you have these tacky blue underlined links. I know you can do better with them :-)
On the products page have 2 products per row if possible. Look a lot slicker & not so much scrolling.
OK...it ws more than a couple ;-) But you did ask!

Hi Grease!
That's a really good-looking site! I love the colors and the basic layout, too.
I agree with matauri about the blue links on the main page. They just look out of place. Maybe a color change for the links would help. Or maybe a different color background, or a border offsetting them would improve the look. They just seem out of place the way they are right now.
Also, on the Products page, I really think the page is awfully long. Shrinking the (visual) size of the product images would help a bit, as would matauri's suggestion about using two columns instead of one.
Either way, I'd put a few links at the bottom - to the rest of the site, as well as "View Cart". Folks may not be quite ready to leave yet, and that might encourage them to stick around and check out a few other products. Maybe even those links you've got on the index page....
HTH!
