Hi there, i currently run http://www.reading-festival.org.uk but unfortunately the web host im with (goHosting.co.uk - or streamlinenet.net) is unacceptably unreliable with the site refusing to load at least 1/2 times an hour!

I was hoping people could point me in the right direction for a good UK Host offering ASP support, not too expensive but very reliable. Thanks in advance

One of the best UK host's is 1+1 Internet ( www.oneandone.co.uk )

Question: why does it have to be a UK host? I host all my sites in LA with 2GlobalMart ( www.2globalmart.com ) > it's about 70% cheaper than any UK host, has both Unix and Win2003 servers, very reliable, amples of free features and add-ons and very quick and polite email support.

Best of luck...

I too use streamlinenet to host my site and find them unhelpful, rude. My domain has "full email facilities" but this doen't include a sent items folder? It has streamlinenet branding all over it. Large flash files do not seem to run properly. My site is DOWN quite often and very slow loading.

Just thought I'd add my two pennies worth
Dean :-))

www.unitedhosting.co.uk . Never had reason to use them myself, but I know from another board that Matt is a really decent guy.

I have found http://www.ukhost4u.com to be remarkable. £30 per year for 1Gb of hosting space - with a free domain name. Unix hosting, very quick to set up, unlimited mysql, unlimited email through squirrel or horde. Every script you could imagine - from phpBB to osCommerce - installed from the outset. I have four sites hosted with them and I have never needed tech support.

I've gone to WebFusion. Streamlinenet are the worst outfit I have ever encountered.
