I have heard a lot about LimeDomains. Should I trust them?

They have an identical logo as LimeWire. Are they part of the same group?

They say they offer one-click application hosting solution. What does that mean?

I use Moniker.Com only for registering domains.. Most secure registrar there is in my opinion..

I happen to be a godaddy guy because I like the deal they give you if you also get their cheap hosting plans. If I decide to pick out a name because I like it, I might not really have much use for it in the present and I might just put a cheap website on it. Under those circumstances, godaddy works fine for me. If a website 'shows life' I'll wind up using a different server but leave the name with godaddy. Plus, once you go with one, its all under one roof.

Problem with Godaddy they will shut your website down and ask questions later. Stay away from Godaddy no matter how good the deal might seem. All somebody has to do is send in a complaint and you are down.

^ Are you talking about hosting with godaddy? I've no idea about that but I think godaddy is a reputed & reliable registrar.

I use GoDaddy as a registrar, although I did use ENOM once (THAT'S a mistake I won't repeat!), but for hosting, I most often use Globat. I've have good luck with them, and it's very affordable.

I have also heard some horror stories from folks that got burned by GoDaddy hosting.

I won't use GoDaddy at all. I also tend to swing my clients away from them. Seen personally too many instances of domains getting 'lost' because some competitor reported them for utter nonsense.

But only in a hosting mode, right? As a pure registrar, they'd not give a whit.

I think you can consult them via online support, since their customer will give you an accurate answer about that.
In addition, when you register a domain name some questiones need to ask it clearly.Such as can you transfer it to other company or how about the renewal?
