Calendar Function for Directory Website

Hi,

Can anybody suggest a suitable calendar function to be used on a directory website?

We are in the process of developing a site that will list various events, and the client
wants to be able to list each on a calendar, and edit as required.

Maybe the above can use one calendar for all events, or perhaps different calendars
will need to be used.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
