Question about the Google Adwords $20M Settlement

Hi, I got a message in my inbox this morning about a Google Adwords $20M Settlement. Saying that they didn't always abide by the daily speding limit. I did notice that at the end of the month our cost was slightly higher than our budget, but didn't think anything of it. Has this affected any of you?

1) if anyone has more details on this,
2) how I find out if I qualify

I found my budget seemed to always go over by about half the cost of a click. I think they liked to stop just over the budget than just under the budget!

Geezzz .. I'll have to go back into the books and see how much we spent during the duration. I really never expected anything but it's worth a look to see. We spent some pretty pennies back in those months.

Anyway $20 million is not a lot of money to Google who is worth billions.

You need to check your Spam folder. Particularly if you use Googlemail!

I stumbled across the subject email by accident.

With around 1000 spams a day through various accounts, I don't generally check the Spam account before deleting it all.

I would guess that's what most people do, and Google will realise that!

I notice in my Adwords account I get occasional small refunds from fraudulent clicks.

Same about the refund. This thread is kinda old now and I'm wondering did we get the money? Is my check in the mail? :D
