I want to find a good unmanaged server outside US for hosting a website. Actually, all I want is an unmanaged server anywhere but the URL registration should show anywhere outside USA.

I am going to run a legitimate escort directory service site for US customers, but I heard potential for law suits in US is really high. If the site is running outside US then you have less troubles. I am not really sure about this.

But the cost of hosting in Europe seems higher.

Any thoughts on this?

poundhost.com or a2b2.com both in the UK, both unmanaged. You will need to check their terms allow everything you plan.
