Cookie stealing - important ?

Hi all,

First time post in this area (normally I can be found in the search engine topics)..

Are there any security guys around who could tell me how relevant/important cookie stealing is ?

I might have stumbled upon a way to steal cookies for any site around. Would this be a major issue and should it be discussed or is it a subject that has been discussed to death and deemed unimportant ?

Just to make sure.. I THINK I found this.. It can be discussed and might be a red herring or a missunderstanding on my part !
